Leeds forward Carl Ablett has announced that he is to retire at the end of the season.
The rower, that was made since making his debut in 2004, hasn’t played this year because of an ankle injury.
His decision was declared by ablett in Leeds’ awards night on Monday — when he and fellow forward Jamie Jones-Buchanan, who is also currently hanging his boots up, received demonstrations.
Ablett won seven Grand Finals, two Challenge Cups and two World Club Challenges, and he played with England in the 2013 World Cup.
