Pet stores are to be prohibited from selling kittens and puppies from the federal government in a crack down directed toward quitting puppy farming.
Third party earnings of dogs or cats under six weeks old will be prohibited, which means purchasers might need to cope with all the breeder or even a licensed rehoming centre.
The move, declared from Department of Environment Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), follows public appointment which found 95 percent of the public encouraged for such a ban.
