Efenseman Scott Harrington has re-signed with the Columbus Blue Jackets on a three-year deal that runs throughout the 2021-22 season.
Harrington, who was a restricted free agent, played 73 games with the Blue Jackets last year and had two goals and a career-best 15 assists.

Harrington, 26, was initially a second-round draft pick by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2011. He played in 10 games with the Penguins in 2014-15 and 15 together with the Toronto Maple Leafs the following season before being acquired by the Blue Jackets in a trade.
He played parts of their past two seasons in Columbus before becoming a routine in the 2018-19 season.
Terms of the deal were undisclosed, but reports pegged it worth an annual average value of $1.633 million per year.
