The stars of television gather together for the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards that take place September 17. We’re seeing a step forward from shows that are still in their infancy in the likes of The Handmaid’s Tale, Atlanta, This Is Us and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel who have garnered a great deal of attention from avid TV watchers.
These displays will be duking it out for supremacy let’s take a look at the odds for the categories.
Outstanding Drama Series
Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale took the world by storm getting rave reviews and a 95 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes . The series returned for a second season before in 2018 and is the favorite.
The Handmaid’s Tale will be in hard to replicate as two-time winner Game of Thrones returned using its seventh year which, as anticipated, was met with excellent reviews and may be poised to become the initial three-time winner since Mad Men won four in a row from 2008 to 2011.
This is always a hotly contested class and this year is the same. NBC’s That Is Us is currently looming in the background using its acting that has generated many who have watched this show.
