Adhering to a post-race altercation at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this Sunday, NASCAR announced their respective crews, Joey Logano and Kyle Busch will not face punishment for their actions in the wake of the the Kobalt 400.
While the lack of punishment may encourage Busch to retaliate, Logano says Busch and he have spoken since the episode and cooler heads have prevailed — for now. Don’t expect when NASCAR is back in action Sunday at Phoenix, Joe Gibbs Racing, which has a background with Logano, to be submissive. The one-mile monitor will offer a lot of grinding and bumping, that knows which driver can get and create contact.
It is no secret Kevin Harvick is the driver. Have a look at his career stats in the desert track. Harvick boasts a track-record eight victories there and has won six of the past nine races at the monitor. He also claims 13 top-five finishes, and 1,484 laps led. It’s easy to see why he is the odds-on favourite.
