Liverpool fans are no strangers to drama and their latest Champions League pops abandoned many of these mentally drained.
The Reds have experienced unbelievable highs and lows — from missing out to the Champions League win of last season on the Premier League name.
On Wednesday night, lovers once again experienced the complete spectrum of feelings as Liverpool raced to a 3-0 lead were pegged back to 3-3 found Mohamed Salah grab a winner.
Last season Liverpool fell short of the imperious Manchester City side in the league title racebut it was not to the want of trying.
That they squeezed every last minute from a game, scoring late goals from Tottenham and Crystal Palace to help keep them in the search.
That never-say-die mindset was on Wednesdayand on display if Salzburg completed the apparently impossible to make it 3-3, there was the sense that Liverpool would nevertheless discover a way in the long run.
