Last training camp, Jeremy Hill won the contest to be the New England Patriots’ power back with an impressive preseason and camp. The stint, sadly, lasted only one match before the running back blew out his ACL.
This summer, the 26-year-old is still hoping to get rid and find a house. Hill sounds optimistic that clearance will come shortly.

«I think for me coming off a big ACL injury, I’m just doing what I can to return to 100 per cent,» Hill stated, via Herbie Teope of The Advocate. «I understand there is going to be a job waiting on me once I get cleared, so that is all I am doing now.
«I’m only trying to get healthier and once that happens, I will be back. I’m pretty close. I am about eight months from operation, so hopefully soon.»
As he rehabs his knee injury hill remains a free agent.
The running back conquer Mike Gillislee for a backup role in New England last year during training camp. Before tearing his ACL, his four totes looked promising, garnering 25 yards (6.3 YPA). In addition, he played on special teams to the Pats in that 1 game.
If he can show he is healthy, Hill could get a shot to fight for a roster spot throughout someone’s training camp. Considering that the status of backup running backs, that chance isn’t a given, and also the veteran may have to wait until accidents start to pile up.
Early September and his operation last August suggested Hill has a location in the league. Getting healthy is the first step in getting another shot to prove he still belongs.
