Trainer Eddie Lynam is currently counting down the days until the Bidding for Group One glory in the Derrinstown Stud Flying of Soffia Five Stakes at the Curragh.
Even the filly has won her last three starts — finishing her hat-trick using space in July and a impressive show from the Stakes within the Flying Five course.
Lynam is now excited about seeing her test her abilities at the level for the first time on Sunday week and resisted the temptation to ship the four-year-old throughout the Irish Sea for last month’s Nunthorpe Stakes at York.
«Soffia is in great shape. It’s been a drag waiting we’ve been ticking the weeks off, but she is in great form and we are anticipating running her,» explained the Dunshaughlin-based coach.
«She keeps surprising us now and let us hope she can surprise us again.»
